Citizens can participate by attending FCUAC meetings, contacting their representatives or the council, or by becoming active members of the FCUAC
The FCUAC area is divided into 10 districts with one representative from each district. The council also has 4 at-large positions. All positions are usually for four-year terms although periodically shorter-term assignments may be made if a position is vacated during a term.
According to the FCUAC bylaws, the Council may create temporary at-large positions if district positions are open.
FCUAC makes appointments to membership positions every other year at its regular January meeting after receiving candidate requests two months earlier, at the regular November meeting, and may m appointments to vacant positions at any regular or special meeting.
View the current appointment procedure here.
NOTE: Maps of the FCUAC districts can be found on the Atlas web site. Go to Maps>Gallery and select the Districts group.
