The Four Creeks Unincorporated Area Council serves an area of about 50 square miles, mostly rural, along with roughly 3 square miles of urban unincorporated area. The service area is divided into 10 geographic “districts” with one board member authorized from each district. The council also has 4 at-large positions, which results in 14 board positions.
All positions are usually for four-year terms, although periodically shorter-term assignments may be made if a position is vacated during a term.
According to the FCUAC bylaws, the Council may create temporary at-large positions if district positions are open.
FCUAC makes appointments to membership positions every other year at its regular January meeting after receiving candidate requests two months earlier, at the regular November meeting, and may make appointments to vacant positions at any regular or special meeting.

NOTE: Maps of the FCUAC districts can be found on the Subareas part of the site.
