Emergency preparedness mini-workshop
October 19, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
A 5-10 minute presentation on the topic of worst-case scenario, followed by discussion for as long as participants want. Will include a time to select topics for other mini-workshops. Invitees: Six current neighborhood emergency preparedness focals that have volunteered to work on individual, household, and neighborhood preparedness. Others are welcome to the mini-workshop; feel free to join the meeting via Zoom.
You can download items specific to this workshop here. Of particular importance is to become familiar with the 1-page scenario summary, although other relevant downloads are available.
Tom Kintner, a local volunteer with experience in local emergency preparedness, will be hosting this mini workshop.
Four Creeks intends to produce other emergency preparedness mini-workshops. Some of the topics that could be selected include things like kits, neighborhood-level preparedness, communication, etc. Participants in this mini-workshop will be asked what future topics might be of interest.
Zoom is the capability to hold “virtual” meetings. There are two ways to participate in Zoom meetings:
One is a link for your browser, and the other is an application you can download to your computing device (see Zoom site). In both cases, the meeting ID and the meeting passcode will be required to participate.
