Cedar Hills Regional Landfill Community Meeting March 29

Meeting will take place at Maywood Middle School

King County’s Solid Waste Division will host an in-person meeting on Wednesday, March 29 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Maywood Middle School (14490 168th Ave SE, Renton).

Please note that this meeting will be in-person and start at a different time than previous meetings.

This meeting is an opportunity to learn and ask questions about what’s going on at the Cedar Hills Regional Landfill, including current and planned construction projects, environmental monitoring activities, and operational activities. You will also receive updates on Bio Energy Washington’s renewable energy plant.

Language interpreters and reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities will be provided when requested at least one week before the meeting by calling 206-477-4466 or 711 TTY Relay.

Join us for a weekend tour of our operations and learn how King County manages nearly a million tons of waste each year while working to protect our natural environment and capture energy for our region. Children 5 and older are welcome to attend with an adult.
